In the winter, you can enjoy 60 different ski slopes, three terrain parks, tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. After the slopes close you can stroll through the Village's restaurants, shops, kids’ entertainment zone, nightclub, full-service spa, and a teen center for those 20 years old and younger. In the summer you can plan on a significantly cooler climate in the mountains where you can hike, geo-cache, lounge at the mountain lake, mountain bike, fish, paddle-boat, shoot sporting clays, ride RAZR 4-wheelers, or golf at Raven Golf Course. We have on site private gated parking for Mountain Lodge guests only and on-site check-in. Simply drive up to the entrance and unload. We are located in the village, directly across from Split Rock Pools (Heated year round, there is an entry fee) and next to Ballhooter lift. Ski right out of the building (see pics). Mountain Lodge is located just steps away from the Snowshoe Village, restaurants, waffle cabin, shops, Starbucks coffee shop and Split Rock pools. Within Mountain Lodge there are six great common areas with WiFi. The main common area has a huge fireplace with couches and chairs. A fantastic common area, the 'Sawtooth Overlook' which contains tables and chairs overlooking the lift area, mountain ridges and Shavers lake (see pics). The other areas contain an arcade, tot play area, exercise equipment, vending machines, and a movie area where movies are shown every weekend during ski season. Snowshoe and Mountain Lodge are doing their part to ensure everyone’s safety. While we are excited to have you as a guest at Snowshoe, some things will be a bit different for this Summer. How to protect yourself and others during your trip These items below will continually evolve as steps are taken based on national and local guidelines and best practices. THE BIGGEST CHANGE WITH YOUR STAY IS THAT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING ALL OF YOUR OWN BLANKETS AND BED COMFORTERS. ALL MY CONDOS HAVE QUEEN BEDS IN THEM. THESE ARE THE GUIDELINES THAT HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED FOR NOW. THERE IS JUST NOT ENOUGH STAFF AND LAUNDERING FACILITIES TO WASH THESE ITEMS AFTER EVERY GUEST CHECKOUT. CURRENTLY THE BED COMFORTERS AND BLANKETS ARE IN LARGE PLASTIC BAGS IN THE CONDO CLOSETS. THEY ARE SECURELY TAPED SHUT. DO NOT OPEN THEM FOR YOUR USE. IF YOU DO OPEN ANY OF THOSE BAGS, YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR ENTIRE SECURITY DEPOSIT. THIS WILL BE CHECKED AFTER EACH CHECKOUT, NO EXCEPTIONS. Safety measures taken for Mountain Lodge Building management • Installed Hand Sanitizing Stations to all Floors by Elevators • Added Wipe Station by Luggage Carts • Upgraded all Cleaning Supplies to meet CDC Requirements • Installing Social Distancing Signage throughout the Lodge • Only one entrance and exit through the main front door • Certain common areas will not be open for use What to do and expect when you are staying at one of my condos? • All rooms will be cleaned with cleaning supplies that meet CDC requirements. • Guests may only ride the elevator 1 person at a time, unless they are sharing a room, then guests can ride together. • There will be no daily maid services. • Vinyl pillow covers have been placed on each pillow so that they are easier to disinfect upon checkout. We have also put plastic remote covers on remotes for easier disinfecting. • There will only be one unwrapped roll of toilet paper per bathroom provided and one unwrapped roll of paper towels in the kitchen. See the front desk if you need additional supplies. • You will be asked to handle your linens upon checkout. Details will be provided for checkout so guests can strip their own soiled linens out and put them in the soiled linen bags. • There will be no lost and found. Ensure you check the condo thoroughly prior to checkout. How to protect yourself and others during your trip: • Guests are asked to practice social distancing and asked to wear masks at all times while in common areas. Avoid close contact with others. Keep 6 feet of physical distance from others. • You are encouraged to wear a cloth face covering in public. • Clean your hands often. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public place, after touching surfaces frequently touched by others, after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, and before touching your face or eating. If soap and water are not available, bring and use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub your hands together until they feel dry. • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. • Cover coughs and sneezes. • Pick up food at drive-throughs, curbside restaurant service, or stores.
